SUPER/NATURAL

We were hired by Plimsoll Productions from Bristol, UK to work alongside Producer/Director Stephanie Thompson to capture footage in Chicago for a segment in their upcoming series Super/Natural. The series was Executive Produced by James Cameron and voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch for NatGeo and Disney. The creative centered around the life and actions of Peregrine Falcons living in a big city. To simulate shots from the "bird's perspective," we worked with our friends at Skeye Hawk Productions to film FPV drone sequences, giving the audience an intensely immersive experience. Our drone followed these incredible birds as they dove down the sides of the tallest buildings in Chicago. When released on Disney+, our Chicago-based segment was featured in episode 2, "Bloodline." It was a thrill to have been a small part of this incredible series, but the proper credit goes to Stephanie and her vision for capturing the beauty of nature in the concrete jungle that is Chicago.
